Georgios Barzegkar-Ntovom

About

Georgios Barzegkar-Ntovom was born in Athens, Greece in 1993. He received the Dipl. Eng., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece, in 2016, 2018 and 2022, respectively. His Ph.D. thesis was supported by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) under the «2nd Call for HFRI Scholarships to PhD Candidates». His main research interests are in the field of power systems modelling, simulation and dynamic analysis of distribution networks and smart grids. He has co-authored more than 30 scientific papers in international journals and conferences, mainly in the field of power systems. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral researcher in the Power Systems Laboratory of School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as a Research Electrical Engineer at Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) - Research, Technology & Development Department.
